So.
It seems that sometime between then and now, I grew up.
This month I attended my university convocation where I finally received my Bachelor of Commerce. I scored a job in oil & gas downtown. I visited my brother, his wife and their beautiful baby and really realized that BAM. I’m not a kid any more.
I have this mountain of debt that I plan to pay off asap. I know that I can do anything I want, and I kind of have big plans…but before that can happen, I need to get rid of this financial burden. I have a plan, I’m putting a giant chunk of each paycheck towards it, but a new-grad salary can only go so far. As you may or may not know, I’m kind of a painter, and when I had a coffee shop that would le me hang my paintings in it…I did pretty well selling them, now I have no coffee shop, but have a re-abundance of paintings. My plan is to put 100% of my painting profits towards my student loans, not much but I figure every penny helps. Below there is a photo album of my un-sold paintings, and you should check out my facebook group to see the whole collection. I have blank canvases that are waiting to be used, so if you have an idea for a piece you’d like, send me the idea/colour palette/size/price range you’re hoping for.
In other news.
I went home recently and saw the most beautiful boy of all time, if I could kiss his little baby head every single day, I would be happy.
Seriously. How cute is he! (and the little pander bear I made him ;))
